3KTAN / FOR PRODUCT ENGINEERSFOR PRODUCT ENGINEERS

Make the requirements
work together.

Give the project a technical brief before committing to tooling.

YOUR DECISION CHECKLIST

Ask the questions that matter.

Use this framework to prepare the first conversation.

01

Geometry & manufacturability

Share 3D geometry, 2D tolerances, split lines, undercuts and mating interfaces for review.

02

Material & structure

Describe stiffness or strength targets, load cases, fiber orientation priorities and environmental exposure. Laminate selection requires review.

03

Assembly & finish

Define inserts, bonded interfaces, hardware, weave appearance, gloss and cosmetic inspection zones.

04

Validation & revision control

Agree sample tests, inspection points, approval records and drawing revisions. Safety-critical use requires its own qualification plan.

BRING TO THE CONVERSATION

CAD revision, intended loads, interfaces and sample validation plan.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Make your next carbon
fiber decision a clear one.

A drawing, a sourcing brief or an early idea is enough to start the conversation.
